Carrie Slavens

Carrie’s well-rounded counseling experience includes the areas of victim advocacy, interpersonal violence, suicide, crisis services, addictions/substance abuse, and family conflict/court-mandated parenting time supervision. She has experience working with groups, children, adults, couples, and families, including the probation/parole and military/Veteran populations. Carrie is currently working towards completing her State of CO Certification in Addiction Counseling II. She tailors a treatment plan toward the individual clients needs by offering a variety of theoretical approaches. She also provides integrative therapies as an adjunct to traditional care, including Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping), Reiki energy healing, and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT).

As a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) practitioner, Carrie offers an efficient and effective treatment by discovering and resolving subconscious causes for emotional and behavioral difficulties, and eliminating unconscious conflicts blocking desired change. It is an innovative brain rewiring approach to achieving personal change and healing by eliminating the ongoing influence of past events and releasing blocked energy.
