Mary Okonofua

Dr.  Mary (as fondly called by her patients) has a calm demeanor, compassionate, down to earth and takes pride  in safely treating patients. Her work experience covers inpatient,  partial hospitalization program, and outpatient settings. Dr. Mary is  very knowledgeable in psychotropic medications and has the prescription  philosophy to ”start low and go slow”. Dr. Mary hopes to walk with you on your journey to recovery and enjoy meaningful life by using psychotropic medications and supplements. With vast experience in mental health, Dr. Mary is able to  care for children, adolescents, adult and geriatric population. She functions as both a provider and a professor teaching Masters level Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Students with a reputable university.

Dr.  Modupe “Mary” Okonofua holds dual board-certification as a Psychiatric  Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse Practitioner  (FNP). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and FNP at  Walden University, Post-master’s Certificate in PMHNP at Wilkes  University. She is licensed in Colorado, Texas and Arizona and is accepting only a limited number of patients. Dr. Mary operates under her business name NuMedical & Psychiatry Clinic.

Tuesdays:Telehealth Visits Only for Patients with Insurance (Aetna, Cigna, Multiplan, UBH. Oscar ONLY)

Thursdays: Private Pay Patients (In-Person Visits for Colorado Residents or if currently on any controlled substances)

Step 2: Confirm Appointment: Please note that within 24-72 hours, you will receive a screening call or text back to confirm the appointment. It is important to respond in order to finalize your appointment.

Step 3: Complete the new patient forms and pay invoice within the patient portal.

After completing steps 1 to 3 above, you are now set for your visit and we sincerely look forward to meeting you!
